The restaurant takes up almost the whole width of the lower floor of the house. All the furnishings and decoration aim to reflect a natural wooden feel. The size of this place easily distracts from the feeling of being in a tree, so extensive use of wood is a necessary reminder.

An open fire keeps the restaurant cosy and warm, enhanced by the double glazed windows. This part of the house extends to the full roof height.

This tree passes through the restaurant and surprisingly due to the warmth has come into leaf. The rest of this tree and the others round the house were still bare after winter.
